On April 20, 2016, two distinguished delegates from the Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi Medan (UNPAB), Indonesia, visited PSU Hat Yai Campus to discussed possible future cooperation with PSU. Dr. Ir. Bhakti Alamsyah, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Mulkanuddin Ritonga, Lecturer, were warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pipat Chooto, Assistant President for Public Relations; Asst. Prof. Dr. Chutima Tantikitti, Associate Dean for International Relations and Graduate Studies of the Faculty of Natural Resources; and representatives from the PSU International Affairs Office.

During the meeting, the discussions focused on future possible collaboration, such as exchange programs, joint research, joint international seminars and publications, as well as dual or joint degree programs. A future UNPAB staff development program at PSU was also considered. All participants also shared experiences on universities' e-learning programs and scholarships.
