Mr. Jan Blezinger, Counsellor and Head of Press and Cultural Affairs Section at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Thailand, visited PSU from August 27-28, 2015. He was warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattara Aiyarak, PSU Vice President for Global Relations and Informatics; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chutamas Satasook, PSU Vice President for Academic Affairs; and two lecturers and four students from the German study program at the PSU Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
During the meeting, the current and future possible collaboration between PSU and German universities had been discussed, such as staff and student exchanges, and training programs for PSU students in Germany. Mr. Blezinger assured PSU of his support and assistance for implementing new collaborative activities and strengthening the existing cooperation between PSU and German institutions.
The honorable Counsellor also participated in the "100 Days before Paris COP21" Climate Change Conference, co-organized by the European Union Delegation to Thailand and PSU on August 28 at PSU Hat Yai Campus.
