Prof. Dr. Hla Htay, Rector of Dagon University, Myanmar, visited PSU from January 19-23, 2015, in order to discuss future cooperation between the two universities. On January 20, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chusak Limsakul, PSU President, and team warmly welcomed our honorable visitor at the Hat Yai Campus. During the meeting both leaders identified many common programs and mentioned several possible collaborative activities, such as academic staff and student exchange, staff development programs, visiting scholars, and joint research. In order to implement these activities, PSU and DU plan to sign a Memorandum of Understanding in the near future.

Prof. Dr. Hla Htay also visited several PSU faculties in Hat Yai Campus, such as Science, Liberal Arts, and Economics, and discussed with each faculty's leadership joint activities to be developed in the future. He also visited the PSU Hall of History and got impressed by the wonderful life-story of His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol Adulyadej. Moreover, Prof. Dr. Hla Htay visited PSU Phuket Campus on January 22 and further discussed possible future collaboration with the top administrative team and representatives from the relevant faculties.
