Five distinguished representatives from Southwest University of Political Science and Law (SWUPL), P.R. China, visited PSU Hat Yai Campus on December 25, 2014. The SWUPL delegates, led by Ms. Qin Jie, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, were cordially welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ram Yamsaengsung, Assistant President for International Affairs; Vice Dean of the PSU Faculty of Law; and representatives from the PSU International Affairs Office.

The objectives of their visit were to restart the cooperation between SWUPL and PSU, and to explore new areas of collaboration. The collaborative activities discussed concern executive short visits, students and lecturers exchange, as well as cultural exchange programs. SWUPL representatives expressed their interest in several common fields of study, such as foreign languages, economics, social sciences, public administration, climate change, public health, philosophy, etc.

Our distinguished guests conveyed their hope for a long and sustainable cooperation between SWUPL and PSU. They also invited PSU representatives to visit their university and further discuss the future collaboration.
