Six PSU students majoring in Chinese Language at the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Hat Yai Campus, have won honors in the 2012 “Confucius Institute Cup” International Writing Composition for Chinese Language Learners. Two PSU students won the first prize. The other four students got the second and third prizes, as well as two encouragement awards.
The writing compositions prizes are as follows:
- First Prize: “The Island Facing the Sea - Phi Phi Island” by Miss Kanyamat Supsukho
- First prize: “Smiling Kingdom - Thailand” by Miss Siwaporn Raksaithong
- Second Prize: “My Only Grandpa” by Miss Budsabong Anpanurak
- Third Prize: “Thailand in My View” by Miss Jiranee Niyomkun
- Encouragement Award: “This is My Hometown” by Miss Sirima Sangsanit
- Encouragement Award: “Seize the Time” by Miss Rattanaphon Satpaisarn
