Two delegations from Jiangxi Normal University (JXNU), P.R. China, led by Prof. Li Xinting, Dean of the School of Music, visited PSU under the MOU between our universities. The first group, including four JXNU executives, visited PSU from January 25 – 27, 2013. The second group, including ten JXNU students and two coordinating staff, which came under the Cultural Exchange Program, enjoyed many activities in Had Yai campus, from January 23 – February 5, 2013. They were warmly welcomed on January 25 by Dr. Paphavee Van Dommelen, Assistant President for International Affairs and Foreign Students, Assoc.Prof. Rawewan Chaumpluk, Dean of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Pattani Campus, and representatives from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Hat Yai Campus.

On the evening of February 1, JXNU and PSU students participated in a successful Cultural Performance at Student's Activities Building, Hat Yai Campus. Many students and staff came to enjoy the diversity of the Chinese and Thai cultural presentations through traditional and modern dance and music, such as: classical Thai dance, modern dance, Chinese dance, a Chinese instruments performance, and Chinese songs. The Chinese and Thai students enjoyed dancing and singing together, making the artistic performance enjoyable and entertaining for everyone.

Moreover, PSU organized several interesting activities for our visitors, such as: Thai dancing, cooking, and language, as well as visits to many tourist destinations in Songkhla, Trang, and Bangkok.
