Two representatives from Prince of Songkla University (PSU) attended the training under the “MARCO POLO” Erasmus+ Project, which took place at Heriot Watt University (HWU) in Edinburgh, UK from December 11-15, 2017, and the study visit at FH Joanneum in Graz, Austria, from 18-22 December 2017.
The 3-day training, conducted by two experts from Hariot-Watt University, covered the following topics: analyzing needs for global communication in internationalization, writing English, as well as speaking and listening in international communication. Another 2-day training conducted by an expert from INCOMA, Spain, concerned the management of mobility actions including an overview of EU funded programmes, administrative and financial management of EU project, and how to manage Learning Mobility Actions.
A total of eight participants from University of Malaya, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia; Hanoi University, and Posts and Telecommunication Institute of Technology, Vietnam; Naresuan University and Prince of Songkla University, Thailand, joined these trainings.
In addition, the two representatives from PSU and one representative from Naresuan University (NU), Thailand, visited FH Joanneum in Graz, Austria from December 18-22. The aim of the visit was to learn more about the international activities and management of the international degree programmes at FH Joanneum. During the visit, successful discussions were held and agreed upon regarding staff and students mobility between the two universities. Sharing valuable information among PSU, NU, and the host university was another fruitful result of the visit.
