Prince of Songkla University (PSU) was honored to be invited as one of the leading universities in Thailand to take part in the special event called “Thai Education Fairs 2018,” which was hosted by the Royal Thai Embassy in Myanmar in cooperation with the Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand-AMAUT and Thai Business Association of Myanmar-TBAM. This event took place on April 7, 2018 at Sule Shangri-La, Yangon, Myanmar. PSU delegates, led by Asst. Prof. Yupawadee Somboonkul, Assistant President for Cooperative Education, and Dr. Suksawat Sirijarukul, Assistant President for Student Admission, included three more lecturers from the Faculty of Management Sciences and two International Affairs Officers, all of whom had the greatest opportunity to broaden the visibility of PSU among Burmese people. Apart from that, this event covered a big area and gathered many Burmese parents, students, and entrepreneurs interested to further pursue their educational goals.
Numerous participants visited PSU booth and learned about the possibility to continue their studies at PSU in various education fields. Many international programs offered at PSU were interesting for Burmese prospective students, such as Business Management, Engineering, Digital Media, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Medicine, and Information Technology.
