A Continental Tire delegation, comprised of Dr. Hubert Hirschlag (Manager of Raw Material Introduction), Dr. Addy Chee-Wei-Kit, and Dr. Vibhavadi Pongdong from Continental Tire Technology Centre Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., visited PSU Hat Yai Campus on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. The delegates met PSU administrators and researchers in order to follow up on and further discuss research collaboration. Areas of possible collaboration include joint research in tire materials, manpower (talent) production for Continental (Rayong), 4-month undergraduate internships at Continental Malaysia or Germany, short-term staff exchange, and joint postgraduate research in material/natural rubber development. Apart from meeting with PSU administrators, the team also visited PSU Science Park and the Scientific Equipment Center.
