The university
shall give emphasis to building new bodies of knowledge by means
of thorough research into local and regional problem solving.
The research outcome will be applied to teaching, outreach,
and conservation of local arts and culture, all of which
will not only help theorize the new bodies of knowledge but eventually
will expand their applicability to resolving the real problems of
the world at large.

shall integrate from the beginning all kinds of knowledge, either
from research, experience, and innovation or from external sources,
into teaching and learning, which will in turn refurbish the integrated
learning process and add value to our expected graduates in the

Basic and integrated capability required for graduates such as
critical and system thinking,
problem
solving, communicating, and recognizing ethical, personal, and societal
reponsibility.
Ability in reaching toward globalization with cognition, understandings,
and integrated capability to communicate with global societies of
all sorts.

The mission shall respond to our aspiration to reach toward the
regionally dependableuniversity for the future through the expansion
of means, facilities, and services which will allow the general
public to access, learn and gain from whatever forms and sources
